Congratulations Liezel and Stephen!
This morning, as we were in a deep slumber, I heard a phone beep. It took me a few seconds to figure out which one it was and before I could do anything, Bridgitte had gotten up to check her phone for this incoming message. This was at about 5:32 this morning.
She came into the room all gleaming with good news! Our very good friends, Liezel and Stephen had just given birth to their baby boy, Wihan at 2:52 this morning. She was due for a Cesar on Tuesday, 1st of April, but Wihan decided that he was NOT going to be an April Fool’s baby and that the time was NOW to make his way onto planet Earth. He weighed in at 3.2kg with a length of 52cm. Happy times indeed!! Welcome to Earth little dude, welcome to Earth !!
We made the call to congratulate them on the good news and Bridgitte couldn’t hold the tears in at all. Not to mention fall asleep afterwords either. So today, it is off to Panorama Hospital to see the little one and when they told us that visiting hours were only at 3pm, that did not sit well with Bridgitte since she wanted to go and see them this morning. Who knows? We might even sneak in. hehehehehe.
Congrats you two. We’re only 3 1/2 months behind you.
